    Hey all,

    Hopefully you have all seen that GOG have re-released all Activision Star Trek titles!

    I have installed SFC3 but appear to have a few bugs - not game breaking - but wondering if anyone else is encountering this and potentially has a solution if they fixed it already? Specifically, when at warp the ship disappears rather than stretched, the backgrounds of the ship diagrams are missing completely and the camera is slightly off centre? Sad

    I must be quite lucky, so far it's worked quite well for me although I've not tried a full game yet. I didn't encounter the same bugs as Adster for some reason

    This is going to sound like the stupidest question, do you have older versions of DirectX on your machine? I usually keep the likes of 9 and others depending on what games I'm playing.

    So funny story…

    The screenshots above are from my gaming laptop (RTX 2070) Which I know for W fact doesn’t have older versions on it, and BC doesn’t recognise it has a graphics card.

    And yet, when I run BC on my PC (1080 ti) which almost certainly has older versions on, it ran smooth as anything and recognised my GFX card and SFC3 (except for the camera being off centre) appears to work perfectly too.

    Maybe I should try the lower version of DirectX, might be it!

    Sadly, for me the directx issue wasn’t the problem… still playing around trying to find a solution! I just don’t get why it works fine on my desktop and not my laptop!
