    Pilot/Intelligence Nova meaning that you'll see all the anomalies from it. Especially as it is a Scout, just load all the sciences onto it. This'll be great for anyone that wanted a ship that just spams out stuff.

    The Miracle Worker/Command Saber is interesting. There's that one MW skill that for every click of a weapon type (beam, cannon, torpedo, mine), the other 3 get like I think 30% (at LtC). Yet, the trait only effects beams. Even interestinger, if I may, is the experimental weapon keeps firing until there is no longer a target selected. Meaning that it'll keep yieting kinetic damage until it dies. Woudln't it be hilarious if they made gatling beamsa thing?

    Nova trait is a good budget option compared to Kick. While there will be no issues keeping the stacks up 100% of the time unlike Kick, getting the full 40 stacks will take a while. The extra control (up to +200) is always nice for a science ship.
    Nova console seems like it might be good depending on whether particle manipulator and/or exotic damage will buff it, the base damage looks decent without any buffs.

    Saber trait is meh and the console looks like it'll have a niche use in PVP with that unkillable and stealth.

    The Nova is ONLY Pilot in the Cmdr seat and the Saber is ONLY MW in the Cmdr seat as well, so not nearly as good.
    The interesting thing with the Nova trait is whether or not the 5 minute timer resets on map changes. It would be pretty meh in a Borg TFO that lasts at most only a couple minutes, but if you could ramp up stacks elsewhere and then queue for the TFO a +20 crit chance and +200 control is a pretty solid boost out of the gate. If the stacks accumulate with the effects of Cold Hearted it could be a solid choice for an Aux2Batt DEW build too, particularly if you run Fragment of AI Tech too.

    The Saber trait could indeed be meh, but if the speed boost stacks with the one from the tactical version of the competitive rep engines it could be interesting since speed is DPS for DEW builds. Kind of depends on what drives the scaling on the bonus damage though, which is absent in the screenshot of the trait description.

    I like the Nova design, but I'm not really loving the Sabre, there's just something "off" about it. It kind of reminds me of a balmain bug. That's one to keep in the canon design if you're using it I think.

    So, with the Nova and Sabre finally getting T6 versions, the Constellation is still hanging so far as the canon ships go, any others?

    That console is garbage outside of pvp since you effectively drop from combat for 8 seconds, but the trait only states movement and damage buffs from beam firing modes. Depending on how the damage buff works that might not be bad.

    Yeah, hence why I said Pilot/Intel and MW/Command. First indicates the Cmdr, second indicates a Lt. What were you thinking I was meaning by saying those? I'm not trying to sass or anything, I'm generally curious what you thought I was trying to say with that.

    I sort of really want the Sabre, not only for the looks, but just so that I can fiddle with the build. There's a couple of things I can think of for it and I'd like to try them out. I think there's a lot of potential fun for a weird build with it.

    That Gatling Blaster has an 8 second cooldown and a 3 second lock on before firing at a target, do we know if those are consecutive?

    First target: 3 second delay while 'lock on' takes effect then fires at enemy until they're dead.
    Second Target: 8 second cooldown then 3 second 'lock on'.

    By the time 11 seconds has gone by, you'll have clicked every beam, torp and MW power at your disposal and evaporated the target.

    Rinse, repeat.

    I'm no expert on the game's mechanics but that's my first thought on the T6 Saber. Interesting design though.

    There's NO LtCmdr Intel on the Nova, it's just two LtCmdr Universal seats.
    There's also NO Lt Command on the Saber, it's just one Lt Universal seat.

    Having two different specializations on one ship is generally reserved for legendary, lobi, lockbox, and promo ships. (exception is the Steamrunner)

    The interesting thing with the Nova trait is whether or not the 5 minute timer resets on map changes. It would be pretty meh in a Borg TFO that lasts at most only a couple minutes, but if you could ramp up stacks elsewhere and then queue for the TFO a +20 crit chance and +200 control is a pretty solid boost out of the gate. If the stacks accumulate with the effects of Cold Hearted it could be a solid choice for an Aux2Batt DEW build too, particularly if you run Fragment of AI Tech too.

    The Saber trait could indeed be meh, but if the speed boost stacks with the one from the tactical version of the competitive rep engines it could be interesting since speed is DPS for DEW builds. Kind of depends on what drives the scaling on the bonus damage though, which is absent in the screenshot of the trait description.
    Hmm....haven thought about prestacking. This is probably the first good buff that lasts over a minute without refreshing. I'm guessing you will keep your stacks on map move, so yeah, a good trait if you use it that way. Looks like the battlezones will become hotspots for stacking this Nova trait lol.

    I like the Nova design, but I'm not really loving the Sabre, there's just something "off" about it. It kind of reminds me of a balmain bug. That's one to keep in the canon design if you're using it I think.

    So, with the Nova and Sabre finally getting T6 versions, the Constellation is still hanging so far as the canon ships go, any others?
    Olympic still needs a proper T6, I don't consider the Nautilus to be the same as it can't kitbash with it.

    And there's a few other oddballs like the Norway class and the Yeager class Unamused.
