I will. Right now, top priority is the ultra-rare variant of the Tactical Fliers, the third Vulnerability locator and after that, upgrading all the phasers to Lvl 15 Gold.

I've also found that she's among the nimblest cruisers in the game, between the base turnrate and the skill build I'm using. Great fun.

Are you doing it for aesthetics or dps? If dps I believe the discovery shuttles do more dps

I'm tempted to go for the DSC shuttles. I already have a Very rare set of them and a normal blue one in it and flew I bit in the Tzenkethi battlezone to test them. Even the blue DSC shuttles seem to last longer... further testing is required, but both would be period appropriate.

If it's a dual hangar carrier you're playing, it first depends on whether you want higher DPS or simply to look good.
If it's for aesthetics then there are no hard requirements for the pet.
If you are playing for DPS, you first need to check if you have the Superior Area Denial trait. When the dual hangar carrier activates this trait, the Normal To'Duj Figther will be the best choice, and although there is no known reason for this, numerous tests have confirmed that the blue To 'Duj is much stronger than the pink To'Duj when SAD is activated.
If you don't have a SAD then the Elite Scorpion Fighter will be your best and cheapest option, with their plasma torpedoes providing a respectable DPS.
If you are particularly fond of DSC shuttles, I would personally recommend the Elite Mirror Universe Shuttle, which is second only to the Elite Scorpion Fighter in terms of DPS without the SAD. (However, considering that the Elite Mirror Type C comes from the same Mirror Engle Strike Wing Escort, as the SAD so this paragraph can be ignored)

This is the build I used myself. It not only ensures a certain DPS, but also ensures my viability. I hope it will be helpful to you.
Although I have not used this starship for a long time, it should not be outdated.

I was using Elite Scorpion Fighters before switching to the Nausican Stingers.

Thanks for the tips, and yeah, I'll be sticking with a form of these shuttles, as I have grown fond of them. (I'm also enough of an RPer to want period-appropriate pets for the ship. These are a good compromise between that and my desire for DPS for now. )

As for the trait, getting it will take some doing, but I've been slotting what I can to boost my pets in the meantime. As of me typing this post, this is the only Mirror Strike Wing on the exchange:



Even if I had the cash to spare, I'm not giving cryptic that much of my real-world Euros in lock box keys.

I don't think equipping Coordinated Assault is necessary, as Elite Mirror Universe Shuttlecraft already has the ability to activate BO3.
And since Mirror TypeC is not a Squadron pet, SAD becomes unnecessary in this case as well, since SAD will only have an extremely noticeable DPS boost to Squadron.
That's why I personally recommend Greater Than The Sum, a very powerful team support Trait.
This ship also comes with Lieutenant Universal-Command Specialization seating which can be used to activate this trait.
The remaining Trait slots can be filled with Traits that enhance starship protection or main weapon damage, and the Constitution Miracle Worker Flight Deck Carrier can be a very powerful battlecruiser even without pet, just by its own firepower.
Of course, it's up to you to decide if you want to buy one of these ships, as they cost a lot of money.

The Clarke and thus GTTS is much more within reach, as are the Normal Elite Type Cs from the fleet. So for the moment that's probably the goal. Until then, IMO, Coordinated is better than nothing and won't leave that trait slot empty.
