    I got the t6 temporal light cruiser for my reward from the year long event, and I'm debating whether to open it on my main toon or an alt. It I do it on my main, I obviously have all my good consoles, weapons, Bridge officers, and etc, but it also seems like a bit of a waste as I already have my science vanguard that I use on that toon. It's like... how often would I really want to use the constitution class when I have the discovery fully leveled?

    So, my question... how viable is it to create a decent build on an alt that doesn't have all the goodies? I could like to experience all the episodes again, and I feel like I'd be more motivated to do it if I had a good ship, but it isn't realistic that I'd be able to get all the traits, starship traits, consoles, weapons and such again on another toon. Even just doing the Reputation, I'd need something that wouldn't get melted against borg and such.

    Any thoughts?

    Plenty of budget builds about to give you ideas some the Streamers have a few on the channels and also some in the fleet builds section I have a Jem Escort build using T5 ship and also a Khopesh build both i would consider budget builds here

    I spend nothing on Recruit alts, and they still manage to pull around 50k in ISA (parsed to make sure I wasn't a burden on the team). So I don't see why not. Probably wouldn't work for every ship or build type (like a space wizard is probably not gonna be good when you're going for "spend nothing").
