    Long story short is I'm trying to search for some legal advice and potentially aid. I don't have enough money for a lawyer and it seems like I can even get anyone to talk to me because I'm broke.

    My roommate is unsanitary but because he is mentally handicapped, they let him get away with all of it and ignore my complaints

    Law would be subject to your location I would assume. The UK has the citizen's advice who will offer free advice on things like this.

    I've been to multiple websites like that and every one I've signed up to and sent my case to come with a disclaimer that lawyers don't have to respond to me and I figured they wont since I don't have much money and currently on the sidelines waiting to hear back about my disability claim

    I think you should contact a lawyer with good reviews who will be able to sort out this situation.
