"Understood. Good job, everyone!" Biqqs tried to make it seem like they just came up with a way to increase engine efficiency, not just averted alll of their deaths. If he projected confidence, the crew would be more confident in each other. "The ship will remain at Red Alert however, until were sure weve gotten the sabateurs. Helm, hold position. Communications, let the station know we have stopped the power surge and are heaving to momentarily to analyze the source of it."

No Lt. Urquhart no reason to cost us even more time our mission has already been delayed long enough. We have a deadline to meet and Engineering will not be reason the Starship isn't successful... even if the ship we are hedging our bets on is as old as the dinosaurs. Head back to Deck 22 and check on those NCO's... they should be done with repairing short ranged communications. I would ask them now but Jeffries tubes have a knack for jamming coms. Once Short Ranged Coms are confirmed of being back online let the Commander know and assure him that we are ok to dock. Also... tell him to turn those &$^%%@! Klaxons off!!

His brain levels are normal as far as our reading show...


The hole you mentioned Ensign is larger than we thought. ((raises device to scan region of the neck)) It seems as if it stretches toward the brain stem...


This makes no sense at all! Anyone with this type of hole this large should be at the very least convulsing or in serious shock. This lifeform must have incredible constitution! An entire lifetime of study and research should be dedicated to just attempting to understand this!


Where is Lt. Nilen? She should have been here by now or at the very least responded?

Biiqs rose from the command chair, turning to Ops. "You have the conn. I will be going to Sickbay to take a look at our guest. Please clear the way before you leave your station, but the security lockdown will remain." Before walking to the turbolift, Biiqs stopped at the bridge weapons locker and removed a handheld phaser, strapping it to his side. "I'll be back momentarily," he said before the lift doors closed.

The solace of the lift was a respite fron the tension of the last twenty minutes; the soft hum of its mechanics reassuring. He leaned his head back against the wall, feeling the cool metal against his skin. "You're a cruel mistress, Fearless Do you treat all your captains this way? Dont worry, i'll figure out your mysteries before long...."


The lift doors opened and Biiqs strode off to Sickbay. Upon entering, he made a bee line to where the prisoner was being held. Looking him over silently for a second, he remarked. "I dont recognize the species. Do we know who he is? What he is? How long hes been aboard? And did we find any accomplices? Initial reports said there might have been two," he said to the nearest security officer.

Thane stood there and watched as the unconscious assailant was taken away and glanced to the security officers. "Computer, end Security Alert. You two, go with them." Thane collected the assailant's equipment off the ground and off his body before he was left and headed for the sickbay. He tapped his commbadge =^="Security, do a sweep of all essential areas of the ship. I want two more officers posted at Sickbay, Phasers set to maximum stun. THere's a guest on the way!=^=

Pausing a bit, He had a bad feeling that if this Assailant had left behind anything more it needed to be checked for. THane headed back up to Deck 13 to do a check of his own on potential sabotage points. He had to check the Cloaking device now, not for the sake of the parts and damage but for sabotage. Considering the systems this thing could be linked into.


Once the Cloak had been checked and tagged, Thane moved on towards checking other reasonably accessible sections of the deck that a saboteur may target.

Once Thane had inspected everything on this deck, he headed up to the Medbay to check in on things. Coming up behind Biiqs Thane chimes in "Don't wake him. He's a tough and extremely quick opponent. He gets awoken in the Brig. I think. Otherwise.. a high security force field must be around him."

She got to sensor control about two minutes later. Christine asked the ensign, "How's the repairs going?"

I'm interested in what our guest here has to say, but that doesnt outweigh the risk." To Thane, he said, "So is he the only one you all saw? Were any other intruders spotted? Initially it was said there may have been two."

Once the Cloak had been checked and tagged, Thane moved on towards checking other reasonably accessible sections of the deck that a saboteur may target.

During his sweep, Krajin found traces of strange liquid leading into the Jefferies tube upon Deck 13.

Unfortunately Commander we have no records of this humanoids physiology. We are however trying our best to piecemeal his DNA, and internal organs into our data banks. I will take the liberty of cross referencing with any information that the DSG1 may have once we Dock and are allowed access... He has not yet regained consciousness, thankfully. We haven't found anything yet to point us to where the other intruder could be. If you like I could awake him now... he does have a strange opening within the back of his neck...


It is also likely that they won't allow us the privilege of docking once they find out what we have aboard the Fearless...


Maybe we could convince them to allow us access to the species records without actually docking?

Something occurred to him that seized his words and made his blood run cold.

"Doctor....does this lead to an artery? Thane, did you pull anything off him?"

Biiqs looked at the Ferasan, and his hunch settled in further. Tough enough to give Thane a run for his money. Able to stay hidden on a ship for....for how long? Hole in the back of the neck.

"Doctor, scan his body for any trace of, or metabolites from a ketracel derived compound. Or any known form of narcotic."

It is also likely that they won't allow us the privilege of docking once they find out what we have aboard the Fearless...

Upon spotting the Blood, Thane knelt down by it and pulled out his Tricorder and ran a scan over it. Hitting his Commbadge to engage the Comms. <^> I have blood here near the Jefferies Tubes as well. Running a scan with my Tricorder. <^> Not about to climb into that without knowing what or who the blood belonged to.

Christine exited the lift and quickly stepped into the 'pit'. She then said, "Computer, silence klaxon on this deck." The piercing sound stopped, but the red lights carried on. Christine looked into Frov's eyes, gulped and said, "The team I left in sensor control....I think.....are dead." It took all her effort to keep from breaking down in tears.

"I don't know," she said shakily, "there was a lot of blood. Comms are back up & the captain's ordered deck 22 locked down." She looked left & right, almost seeming to locate some object to steady her emotions. "I'd give anything to learn Kolinar right now." Christine said simply.

Keep it tight people!!

The Security Personnel team crouched low while maintaining proper distance and weapon cadence. Lt. Wales maintained his position behind the pointman Ensign Bootmire. Swaying their phaser rifles towards each corner of the deck's corridor the officers continued to press forward. All 5 Security Officers raised their rifles pointed them towards Lt. Urqhuart before recognizing her.

Lt. Wales waved her to proceed towards the turbolift before resuming their path. Upon reaching the Jefferies tube the security team sees Lt. Commander Thane in a crouched position near the Jefferies tube. Just as the Security team was about to lower their weapons a large humanoid covered in blood burst from within the opening of the tube attempting to harm Lt. CMDR Thane!

All Security Officers open fire... their arcs of light illuminate the outside corridor as the Large Assailant's body jerks, awkwardly ripples, with arms flailing violently while the beams of red streaks impact and engulf his sizable frame. As his body drops to the Transparent aluminum flooring his mouth opens and a small object protrudes and skitters across the room with blinding speed. The Security Officers again fire their weapons but are unable to make contact.

The small unknown creature makes its way into the open and welcoming Jeffries tube squeaking possibly within with jubilant success...

Biiqs said something under his breath that sounded vaguely like "Frederick."

"Round up those engineers, get them to Sickbay so they can be scanned and cleared. Keep a guard on them. I need that Jefferies tube locked down completely. Nothing in or out. We'll then scan for life forms about that size. Take some samples of that blood or whatever fluid it is, and take it to Sickbay. They might be able to get some DNA samples or something from this creature...Thane will give you all nay additional direction and will head p the search for the life form."

I just had a brief yet disturbing conversation with your Ensign Celo. Even though regulations stipulate that my transmissions are for your eyes and ears only, she insisted on letting me know that you may have two parasitic alien lifeforms aboard your starship? I'll take the nod as a yes... ((pressing lips together he rises from his seat turns around to firmly tug down his shirt before pivoting back toward his viewscreen)) The Federation has faced this lifeform once before, and during that rather short period of time this... species... was able to almost completely "possess" our entire Starfleet Command.

((Picard deeply inhales and exhales before pulling his chair out to sit back down)) I'm sending you now the details of my personal log during Stardate 41776.1. Read it and take the necessary precautions to ensure that no more of your crew are exposed to this intrusive, brain altering threat.This... revelation does reveal what has been behind our starbases and supply depots being systematically disabled or destroyed.

Pay close attention to everyone and look for a strange tail like object protruding from the back of the neck... it could even be moving.They enter and gestate through the back of the neck, but they exit through the mouth. Listen to anyone that uses the phrase "I'm fine now..." A person that says this could be carrying or under the influence of the parasite. Finally, send me evaluations of each of your crew so we can keep records of everyone's progress and demeanor. This is protocol however it is imperative now more then ever that you begin this task. You are welcome to place these either in Crew Manifests, or the Captain's logs.

These Invaders sent out a beacon years ago.. it looks as though they finally have returned. Commander, trust no one. Even I could become compromised at some point. If you manage to capture any of these creatures while still attached to the host, try your best to interview them. Any accredited information could prove very useful to the Federation. Once you have dispensed with the threat aboard your starship be cautious of docking at other Starbases. Your mission is still priority as we are receiving more reports of abandoned derelict Dominion vessels.

Commander Bliiqs, the Federation is counting on you and your crews collective efforts.
