Hello there!
Gostlool here, with a little bit of an introduction on me. I'm Gostlool, which I am aware will probably not be pronounced right by anyone (myself including). The closest I figure it is "ghost lol", but in one go. Don't ask me how I settled on this ten years ago, because I don't really know beyond the fact that it evolved from "Ghostmellow". That said, feel free to call me Justin, de Vos, Callaghan, or Doheny (My old longtime MilSim name), I respond to it all!
Now, I am 25 years old, and grew up in the countryside of the Netherlands. For a while, I even lived on a dairy farm and was a farmhand there working for my mother's boyfriend (whom I often call stepdad no.2). After school, I worked odd jobs for a while before getting into a Mechanical Engineering course. (MBO Niveau 4 BOL, for you Dutch folk there) but decided it wasn't quite right for me, and switched to a (MBO Niveau 4, BBL) course in Architectural Engineering Estimating (Mechanical side), during which I worked as an Apprentice Engineer at Rensa, who have hired me as an Engineer upon getting my degree this summer.
I am engaged to an American gal, and am in the process of securing a job offer so I can go through the rigmarole of securing a work visa for America so I can move in with her in rural Minnesota.
I am a big sports fan and will watch any sport except for soccer. My fiancée (and family) has indoctrinated to support the Minnesota Twins (Baseball) and the Minnesota Vikings (Football). Obviously, I love disappointment! I also watch Hockey, and cheer for the Vancouver Canucks.
Obviously, I am a big fan of games as well. I've played STO on and off basically since the day it went FTP. My all-time most played game is ArmA 3, for which I used to be in a British MilSim group (other groups as well, but I spent 5+ years with them before we sort of fell apart). Other games I enjoy in no particular order are: SWTOR, Farming Simulator (I mean, come on, that's just relaxing although it does make me feel a little melancholic at times), Rimworld, Madden, MLB the Show, and many others.
I am also a sci-fi nerd, as I imagine many of you are. My favourite being Stargate.
Please let me know if anyone has other questions about me, I'd be very happy to answer them! In fact, I would enjoy that!
