I must confess I gasped when Ro appeared on the screen - there are some absolutely amazing cast and character choices across the Picard series, but I was so happy to see Michelle Forbes return to her nose ridges... Acting again in this series is just at another level, and the writers have really done themselves proud. Starting to fall in love with Captain Shaw - it's just so refreshing to see a captain played this way. Loved the idea of a logical Vulcan villain - and finally we see the link made between Worf/Raffi and Picard/Riker... This season has been packed full of good Star Trek energy and has been a visual delight. It's old trek in a new way, and for me - it's the best yet.

Ever since the last episode with the door and hand, I've been wondering if the Pah-wraiths were involved. Anybody more familiar with the lore have thoughts on that?

Thats a good point Dark, if memory serves when a pah-wraith has possessed someone (in DS9) their eyes glow red just like Jack Crushers did!

Did they not state on the last episode of DS9 that the pah-wraith were now trapped forever? If it is the PW, then we better also be getting the return of the Emissary.

Did they not state on the last episode of DS9 that the pah-wraith were now trapped forever? If it is the PW, then we better also be getting the return of the Emissary.
There could have been a pah-wraith trapped outside the fire caves. I believe its just the ones that are there that are trapped. We’ve seen an example of one dormant in an old relic.
