Picard as a series has been a mostly positive experience for me. I felt the 1st season was the weakest - as if they were finding their feet, but last season with Q (who could not possibly love any opportunity to see John De Lancie opposite Sir Patrick again) was so strong I was worried about how they would round things off in this the final instalment. I need not have worried, however, this season is by far the most "Star Trek" of any of the others. The acting is of the highest calibre, even the new introductions and less impactful characters like Titan bridge officers are really bringing their A-game. The script is good, the story is compelling and Amanda Plummer as the villain - was in my opinion nothing short of a masterstroke of clever casting. All these things together have made this series the best of the three to my mind.

Ten forward seems to have become the go to place for amazingly powerful dialogue between characters. Between Liam Shaw's version of the USS Indianapolis speech from Jaws and the emotionally charged conversation between Picard and Ro, it's been like watching masterclasses of acting.

I see all over Twitter there's calls for a USS Titan series and I, for one, think that isn't the worst idea ever. Captain Shaw, who really grated on me during the first episode is now one of my favorite characters and I'd love to see more of the ship and crew.

I might be reading too much into it, but it sounds like that some of the powers that be might be thinking along the same lines or they're at least open to the idea of it.

Well, we'll spoiler this one as it's by no means a guarantee, but

someone who has seen all 10 episodes as part of the previews; they didn't touch on the final one but did say that as of episode 9, no-one was dead.

I'm totally loving the design of the Intrepid as well. I like that they haven't reverted back to the old TMP era saucer section and have given Intrepid a more First Contact, sharp edged saucer. That scene when you realise that they made Intrepid angry and it starts to rear up towards them was brilliantly shot and showed just how menacing and beautiful the ship was.

Enjoyed this season far more than the last, which to be honest I didnt get past the first episode in watching. This season I have actually been counting the days till the next episode, which considering I am very selective these days, is a major plus for me.

I really liked season 3. It was done well and was nice send off for the TNG crew. I'm still struggling with the fact that at the end of season 2 the federation made a pact with the "good' borg?? however they show up as the main antagonist in season 3. Other than that it was nice to see some "real" trek for a change.

That was Jurati's mini collective, which in theory is still active. But to be honest season 1 and 2 sucked so much it's just better to forget about it anyways.
The Borg will always be the antagonist, as they should. But now I think the real Borg are dead and Jurati's collective will just be forgotten as bad trek.
