Hi everyone,
As you may already know, Diablo IV is currently in the early access period ahead of the official launch at midnight on Tuesday 6th. There's a few folks here that are already live and others that are waiting for the official launch, so last night I created a clan for people to join if they want to, named, rather imaginatively,
UFPlanets.
There's just me there for the moment but if you fancy joining the battles against Lilith, we've now got a home to stay a while and listen.

Today is the first day of live!
I switched to a Frost Sorc last night as I was starting to struggle a bit against bosses with the shock skills, thankfully there's a refund option on the skill tree so you can go back to square 1 and rebuild on the fly. The season/season pass isn't expected to start until mid-July so I'm saving my namesake character for that as either a Barb or Druid.
Does it have crossplay? Might get on PS5.
It does yes, though it also has an option to enable/disable it. It's on by default I think.

Funny you mention that, on my Sorc I constantly switch between a chain lightning and a frost shards build because I can't decide on one or the other. I actually felt that chain lightning was the better boss killer (with the node that increases damage when chaining on yourself). Have to decide on one or the other soon though so I can target farm codex powers (I'm still pretty low level and my rogue is only in the 30s as well).

The information I've found on it so far has been conflicting, some swear by lightning and others shards. Lightning seems to be leaned towards for levelling and frost, sometimes with some fire stuff thrown in, seems to be more towards 50.

Yeah, endgame seems to be mostly frost and fire. I'm actually cool with that, frost being THE ironic spec since D2.

There's some twitch drops going on for the next few weeks, you'll find details here. Advance warning, you have to watch for a certain number of hours to get everything each week, this drops needs 3 hours for 2 items and 3 more for the rest.
Or do what I did and just leave the Twitch window open and let it run there while I did something else.

I've put an application in. Not entirely sure how much time I have spare, but I've been somewhat hooked by Diablo 4, and I'm hoping I can find the time to join you guys for events.
