Let's make a third thread for the Starfield stuff, only in this case, it's for your ground weapons.

Combat on foot seems to be something of a struggle in the early game and full auto weapons seem to be somewhat lacking in stopping power. it's only today when I reached level 23 that I've noticed the scales starting to tip back in my favour a little, (apparently this is something to do with the guns scaling weirdly from what I've read) and while particle weapons seem to be the undisputed king of the ground pounders for general purpose stuff, you don't see these until later on with the odd exception, I've only laid my hands on one so far.

So I've been chipping away and after knocking a boss mob onto their backside, they dropped this and it's really helped me out. Not my first legendary weapon, but it wipes the floor with any of the others I've found to date.

Also the loot farm trick that's existed in several Bethesda games still works in Starfield - if you encounter one of the boss mobs that have 3 health bars, knock their health down and save before you finish them off. You can then loot as usual but if you don't like/need what they've dropped, reload and repeat, it'll change what they drop each time.

My current fave is Deadeye no idea where i got it from but its a beast can't wait to find the epic or legendary versions of it I have an AK and old Earth hunting Rifle that are fun also along with a bunch of other stuff Mini gun is fun also

I got my basic Deadeye when I enrolled to become a Freestar Ranger, Have modified mine a bit, but as I am a sniper with a Orion Rifle, I don't get to use it as much as I would like. It is definitely a beast tho.
