I haven't come in contact with RPD and i won't, because role play is not something I enjoy. But I haven't heard any complaints, so division seems to work well.

Ravensplat We seem to be doing a good job so far based on our members responses, feel freee to pop in any time.

Gostlool If I may make a suggestion: give it a go anyway. I think most of us have thought we're not good at it even we are. We often think too critical about ourselves!

Kiflin Being good is relative to be honest, however even those who are considered great had to get started in some way. We all try to improve ourselves with each story that we take part in and write. The real challenge is keeping those who are participating interested in continuing to participate.

The events that are run are in my experience all done very well.

RavensplatThe events team across the UFP does an excellent job and I feel privlidged to be part of it, even if our Star Trek Adventures games are in a bit of a scheduling hell right now (keep an eye out for an announcment about a new campaign soon)

Sadly we are missing American volunteers for US friendly events (I'm european, also volunteer already)

RavensplatI have experienced first hand how hard scheduling is for any event. It's a constant struggle to find the right balance.

Gostlool Being European, I'm sorry I can't do much about it...

Kiflin Scheduling is the true challenge when creating events for members in different places of the world.

STO and Holo run regular events run by good people

RavensplatThe STO Team and Holodeck crew are an excellent bunch, shout out to Gostlool for the recent Star Trek Stellaris mod sessions, I hope to make one properly soon.

These folks diligently try to meet the needs of the membership. The question is... does the membership meet the needs of those coordinating the events?

RavensplatAssessing the needs of members and how we can best suit them is always part of our process. I would say that so far it is going well.
Gostlool I am not nearly inebriated enough for psychology...

Kiflin Well this is a good question because it asks who truly should be held accountable? I would say that coordinators have to strive to do what they can to meet the needs of membership.

I see plenty of events which is nice to see. Better advertising of events on places like Discord might get more participants Smile

RavensplatI would definelty agree, I'm sure the event hosts will take this underadvisement and look at the options.
