Novalance: Greetings UFP, Thank you for your departmental feedback, you may be wondering why I am commenting on SFA, very soon™ SPO will be taking over SFA's current Duties and incorporating it into the SPO Division, SFA itself is going to go through some changes but they wont happen until after the migration, I can't share much yet but expect new volunteer roles in the near future and much more.
No interactions since I graduated
Novalance: Interactions are a two way street, however there's little need for interaction with the current iteration of SFA after you've graduated as they have done their job, unless you have questions, in which case its down to you to pursue them.
Sunfire: That is the way it works currently. Once a recruit leaves our care after their graduation there is no real need to interact with SFA, unless they want to apply for a job as RSO. Of course we are still always ready to assist and answer questions, but the initiative for this is with the members.
An efficient group that ensures cadets are processed and have the information they need to become productive members of the fleet.
Novalance: Yep they are, don't expect this part of cadet processing to change significantly
Sunfire: Thank you, we try!
Novalance: Archer-Boi! who's a good kitty!
Sunfire: Rawr!
I kind of wish that someone would check in from time to time, perhaps give some pointers... I still feel very much like a cadet! :-/
Novalance: This is down to the individual member to get in touch with SFA, if you need help, you should contact Redking or Sunfire yourself, not expect them to read minds, again this is going to change somewhat in 2025.
Sunfire: As mentioned above we are always ready to assist in any way we can, unfortunately we are no mind readers and thus can't see for ourselves who needs to be contacted. But please, our door is always open!
Massive approval you knows it
Novalance: alright spar?
Sunfire: *finger guns*
Not very active that i can see,
Novalance: SFA's activity is mostly behind the scenes, with forms and digital paperwork associated with members during their cadet phase and graduating phases, this is why you don't see much its very much hidden in the backend of the website. they are about as active as they can be and the activity changes depending on how many new/returning people we have going through the process.
Sunfire: Maybe it seems that way, but as Nova mentioned above we are an administrative division and thus work mostly behind the scenes to take care of new members. Besides that SFA is currently running on only three staff members, so naturally you will see less absolute activity compared to say STO. But I invite you to check the various threads of new members, cadet graduations as well as introduction threads and you will see activity there.
Everything is operating within normal parameters!
Novalance: As it stands at the moment, yes totally.
Sunfire: That's what I like to hear!
I don't need to interact with SFA much but they always do a great job behind the scenes
Novalance: Sunfire and the team are definitely the unsung heroes here.
Sunfire: Thank you!
