Remove Approaching Agony and move Ordnance Accelerator in it place, than move Lorca to the open Tac Slot and get another Isomag and place it where Lorca used to be.

Nice build.
I am wondering if History Will Remember does much for you given this is a beam overload build and it requires threat to shine. Maybe replace it with something like Heart of Sol?
Also, I personally would consider Narrow Sensor Bands I to replace Eject Warp Plasma while upgrading Emergency Power to Weapons to III.

Please understand I like so many playing in this game can't afford to buy every single bundle in this game and have every option available.
I posted a video to show how this build works in the mission "Mars, the Bringer of War" which is the hardest Solo PVE environment available. For the first two stages, my shields will be down, beaming the colonists to and from my ship while taking fire. Granted the Iconians are not as hard to play against as would be the Vaadwaur or the Tzenkethi. The enemies are randomly selected and this is what I got for this video. But, it doesn't matter which enemies spawned I still would've completed this mission without dying.
I do not have characters that specialize in ground or space. I do a lot of Advance Random Queues. I have to build something that can do everything without modifications. Also assuming that other players in the mission were not as good as I am. This also includes specializations. For random queues, I use intelligence as primary and temporal as secondary. I don't have the luxury of deciding which specialization to run in a random queue environment. I also always have "threat" active it doesn't matter if I'm playing in a group or solo. If I'm going to take the hits I might as well get the bonus heels.
This is what a free player has to deal with. I really wish that you guys who have the luxury to buy all the good stuff would please understand that. If you look at it through a free-to-play player's eyes then suddenly this build looks really good. I don't really need all this stuff, there's enough free ingame gear and affordable traits on the exchange that will still allow me to do all the content on Elite. My DPS wouldn't be as high. I just have to work a little bit harder.
I'm also vision impaired so there are times with all those wizard abilities going I can't find the mouse icon. I don't even know which direction I'm pointing at.

Ground builds are fairly easy to sort and you can make a viable ground build with mostly reputation and mission reward gear the expensive and time-consuming part of the ground is the Risian Kit module. But it's still earnable in-game you just need to put the time in during the summer event or buy the favors from the exchange for ec.
Now with the amount of stuff, you can also get a viable build for free to play that will hit 90-100k DPS making you decent enough for advanced runs and also elite in the right teams
Build suggestions are just suggestions you do not have to take suggestions and use them but they give you an idea of what you can do going forward, I will add though that the suggestions above don't cost anything except time and ec Narrow Sensor Bands is available from the Trainers and you can use your event campaign rewards to get traits if you needed them from ships again just a slower way of doing it but gives you an option.
As for your visual issues, there was a tool reviewed by Spencer last year that I have not used it but might help you with that.

This build is mainly made of free in Game Gear. As you may notice I only have two promotional consoles in this build. I could easily replace those two consoles and still have a viables layout. I'll still be getting a 300K DPS out of it. If anything this shows that a good Elite PVE solo build is more than possible and you don't need the Buy promotional ships to do so.
I fly battlecruiser because I like it. It's a cross between an escort and a cruiser. It's quick enough that I can line up Targets in front and strong enough to take the damage. The way I designed my characters I can go into Elite ground and space not worrying about a survivability or DPS. I like doing ground and for a while there I was doing ground PVP. Everybody underestimates ground, there's quite a few people who are really good a space DPS yet they hate doing ground because they put everything they have into space.
This game is currently being promoted as a pay the win. Those who have the best gear will always have the best DPS. They can stay in one spot press a few buttons and everything gets pulled in the center and dies and if they die they still get credit for the DPS that's occurring while they're waiting to respawn.
My style of play dying is the same as failure. Respawning really ticks me off. There are missions in this game that on a Elite ground that the quarter is so tight and the enemies are so vast that you can easily be killed. So yes I have more resistance because I'm not going to die I'm going to beat these guys. I don't want to respawn multiple times where I eventually whittle down all the enemies. That's not me. I don't die, I complete all the objectives and I find all the loot that's hidden.
The lobi discovery rifle I actually got it for free in game because on the first day of Illusion of Communication episode it was available on the mission and it was hidden loot. The tricorder did not lead me to it. I don't know if it was a mistake in the game or was just treat for those who like to look outside of beating track. But I got that rifle for free.
