Blackpool, one of Britain's biggest holiday towns was set to host the Star Trek exhibition on June the 30th, however due to delays in transporting some of the exhibits, the show has been delayed. This could be good news for some who haven't heard about this, the new opening date is set for July 8th, so less than a week away! Tickets are on sale at ticketmaster, which shows the last day of tickets set on November 6th, plenty of time to make a decision.

The Deputy Leader of Blackpool council, Cllr Gillian Campbell, has been quoted as saying that she is delighted that Blackpool had been chosen to host this exhibition and believes this will provide to be a bit hit with visitors to the resort. While a spokesperson told the Blackpool Gazette on the news of the day that "We are working hard to ensure that we offer the very best consumer experience possible, when we open the doors to the public.", they look to be dedicated to ensuring everything is in place before the doors are opened.

There will defiantly be plenty to see and this delay should just help to provide more time for people to decide. As well as Destination Star Trek coming to Birmingham in October, there's plenty to do in the UK this year!
