The Division: Heartland
Tom Clancy's The Division is a popular third-person shooter video game series developed by Ubisoft. The series takes place in post-apocalyptic New York City as well as in Washington D.C., where a viral outbreak has spread throughout the cities, causing chaos and destruction. The player takes on the role of an agent of The Division, a secret government agency tasked with restoring order to the cities.
Recently, Ubisoft has announced a new addition to the series, Tom Clancy's The Division Heartland. Unlike the previous games, The Division Heartland is a free-to-play game that will be available on PC, consoles, and cloud gaming platforms. The game will be developed by Red Storm Entertainment, the same studio that developed The Division and The Division 2.
The Division Heartland is set in a new location, which has not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be a rural area in the United States. The game will introduce new gameplay mechanics and features, including a new game mode that is designed for solo players and small groups.
Ubisoft has also confirmed that The Division Heartland is a standalone game and not an expansion or DLC for The Division 2. This means that players who have not played the previous games in the series can still enjoy Heartland.
The announcement of the third instalment of the series has generated a lot of excitement among fans. Many players are curious to see how the series will evolve in a new setting, and how the new gameplay mechanics will enhance the experience. The fact that the game is free-to-play is also a big draw, as it will make the game accessible to a wider audience.
Ubisoft has not revealed a release date for the game yet, but they have stated that they will share more information about the game in the coming months. In the meantime, fans of the series can look forward to the upcoming film adaptation of The Division, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain.
In conclusion, Tom Clancy's The Division Heartland is an exciting new addition to the series. The game will introduce new gameplay mechanics, features, and a new setting that will make the experience fresh and exciting for both new and old players. The Division 1 was a great game, 2 also had its moments as well. We did have an active clan in 2 for a while at the beginning of the game. if you're interested in trying them, get em on sale (I think Ubisoft has a sale on at the moment), most definitely worth it =)
