Size: 410.6 KBIt is with great sadness that I announce the passing of beloved Star Trek Actor - Garry Graham aged 73 on January 22nd 2024.

Graham most famous for his iconic role as Ambassador Soval on Star Trek Enterprise has sadly passed away aged 73. Grahams passing was announced by his ex-wife Susan Lavelle on Facebook who said: “It is with deep profound sadness to say that Gary Graham, my ex-husband, amazing actor and father of our beautiful only child together, Haylee Graham, has passed away today.”

Trekcore also tweeted about his passing on January 23rd.

Taking a personal note for a moment here: Garry Graham brought one of my all time favourite Vulcans to life in Star Trek Enterprise, I loved watching the relationship between Captain Archer and Soval go from antagonistic to one of mutual respect as humans proved their strange ability to be emotionally led while being able to embrace cold logic (which confounded Soval most of the time!)

Rest in peace Garry, thank you for bringing one of my favourite Star Trek characters to life.

Graham also appeared during Star Trek Voyager's second season as the Ocampan Tanis in the episode "Cold Fire" who lived with one the mate of the Caretaker - Suspiria, he later appeared as Ragnar in the fan film Star Trek: Of Gods and Men and then finally appeared in the 2015 fan film, Star Trek: Renegades.

Graham had a storied career outside of Trek most notably playing Detective Matthew Sikes in the Alien Nation franchise from 1989 - 1997.

Please join me in offering our condolences to his family at this difficult time.

May he rest amongst the other members of the Star Trek Family who have boldly gone before us.

My thoughts are with his family, friends, and fellow fans at this time. Sad

Indeed, another stellar icon laid to rest. I will forgo the standard Vulcan farewell in this instance and say, "Peace be upon him."

I was so sad to hear this i was hoping to meet him this year if he did any conventions. He was a great actor and seemed like a genuine person in the fan interviews I saw him in. His character of Soval as a Vulcan being around humans too long was amazing and under-rated. Top 5 in my book .

Just a reminder to appreciate the trek actors we have while they're around. The ones left are getting older and one day they won't be here.
