Downtime Part 2: Website Launch

We're going to be pulling the forums down tomorrow (Thursday the 24th) at 11:00EST / 15:00GMT to perform further maintenance during which time we'll be bringing the new website online. We're uncertain of exactly how long this will take, but we're certain it'll take at least few hours.

We're very excited to be finally releasing this to all of you, and hope you enjoy the hard work and time that has gone into its creation. We've been working long and hard since the beginning of February, and we're very proud of the unique look we've produced.

We're Star Trek fans and we deserve a kick ass looking Star Trek website and forums, in a few hours we get that, even though I think our current set up is still ahead of the curve.

^ My face will not be set to stun because I still don't think a better looking Star Trek website will be found but lets not get too excited, the new website and forums are awfully shiney and I hope everyone enjoys them but the most special thing we have is our community.

Sure we have a kickass website and forums, a super sweet server, great links to other Star Trek gaming groups and a fleet magazine that gets thousands of views all around the world and ends up on the front page of STO featuring exclusive interviews with some really awesome members of the Star Trek community like Dan Stahl, David Mack and GSIO01 but they aren't the things that makes us special, although they might make us different from many of the other Star Trek gaming groups out there.

We've got a great group of Star Trek fans who socialise and play games together and that is more impressive than any of the other assets we have at our disposal.

The stars of the show are our members and this is a little something for the community from those involved to say thanks and to make your experience as Star Trek fans more enjoyable! :mrgreen:

This couldnt be more true! Our website will be amazing I'm sure. But this has to be the greatest gaming group i have been apart of. And i have been around the block a few times
