hey guys,
ive been wanting to introduce myself for a while, so here are a few details: real name is Chris i study Art and Tech first year and i live in the Netherlands. Its involves a bit of wed development, a bit of coding, a bit of design and a bit of business orientation. Besides saying hi and telling a bit about myself (and the obvious like of star trek) i wanted to inform you guys about what happened in the last week.
the thing is my laptop got stolen, and worse yet it was the first room i got since i got into college (we dont do dorms of any kind). so im kinda bummed out about the first place i got to live on my own being broken into a week after i move in. anyhow ive gotten over most of the emotional hurdles and organizational and bureaucratical hurdles. but i intend to stick around and see what comes of life and this community.

I have had my home broken into in the past and know the feeling well. Aside from the loss of property is the feeling your personal space has been violated by a complete stranger. It's an eerie feeling. Hang in there with all of the new things in your life. It will improve and you will have much to look forward to.
