Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) is an MMORPG which sets itself 1000s of years before the traditional Star Wars films. The game, which is currently being developed by BioWare, allows players to play as a traditional character in the Star Wars universe. So, is this a game that grabs your attention? I will be there day 1 for sure. I will keep my STO sub but given it's lack of content, I feel that SWTOR will give me plenty to be interested in and that I will be able to keep up with the development rate of STO with minimal effort. I just hope the UFP will have a presence in SWTOR!

I'm a lifetime sub with STO, so will always be around.

But I am looking forward to SWTOR and will most definitely be giving it lots of time when it comes out.

I'm still iffy about it. If there's no feature to turn off the voice-overs and a dialog box is not available, the gameplay will annoy me silly. I would rather skim the dialog and play the game than to sit and listen to the theatrics as if I'm watching a movie. But that's just my opinion. Also, I'm apprehensive about it since it seems more dazzle than anything, but we'll see. If it's anything like the original Old Republic games, it might have decent content.

I will give this a pass for the time being. STO takes up the majority of my game time, despite having a VA with the complete borg set, and I'd rather not sacrifice that

It does look a good game, but i don't think i will be jumping ship from Star Trek Online just yet.
