Animated Trek Series

When Star Trek Online launched, I thought it would be fun to work on a cartoon series set in the same universe. My brother and I started coming up with some characters, I found a few people online willing to write stories, then I started working on art and we cast about a dozen voice actors.

After a few months we finally finished the first episode, which will be released once our music guy finishes recording the original score he wrote for us. Exciting!

We are on Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, YouTube, and we have an official site as well.

I'll post more pics and such as I continue to make art for the next episodes. If anyone wants to get involved in any way, just send me a note! This is a pretty big project so there is always room for more help.

Let me be the first to say....WOW.

And....I WANT TO GET INVOLVED!

I'm willing/able/eager to do voice acting. I love acting in theatre, and so voice acting would be a natural extension of that. I'll record an audition ASAP!

Apart from that, I would be interested in learning and helping to develop stories and scripts. I would definitely need time to develop that aspect/ability though.

EDIT: So are you the "lone producer" that the website speaks of?

Unfortunately, yes. We had a small team but the others dropped out once they realized how much effort a project like this would actually require. Characters had to be created, stories had to be written, artwork had to be made, voices needed to be found & recorded, and then we could finally start animating! Finally we add the extra visual effects, sound effects, ambient background noise, and music.

At the moment we are in great need of writers to finish Season One's stories. Anyone willing to contribute background art would save me a lot of time, and of course we always need more voices. Another person working on music would be helpful too. If you would like to participate in any way please send a note to NCC94253@GFCmedia.net.

Wow! Quite cool!

The characters are well done and the conflict between them makes things more interesting. The plot offers some surprises.... very nice.

Now get and make the next one.... I cannot wait.

Because 1x02, 1x03, and 1x04 are all one long story...I actually finished 1x05 first. We may release 5 as the second episode depending on how long it takes me to finish up 3 and 4. I would prefer to show them all in the proper order as I think they will be better received that way. Either way it shouldn't be TOO long a wait until a new episode is posted.

Personally? I can't wait until we get to the second half of season one, because I'm looking forward to seeing episode 7, which I had a hand in writing. So all of my adoring {UFP} fans (Ahem...CHRIS!) keep watching!
