It’s been quite a while since we’ve made a big news post, well, finally things will start to be picking up on track again.
First of all it’s been exactly 3 weeks (to the posting of this news) since the new site was released!
It’s also 3 weeks tomorrow since the last UFPAC!!!
What an incredible month to look back upon, Firstly, a large congratulation to all the members who received awards and promotions! You all deserved it!
Congratulations to Mikester92 and Bondgadget76 for finally becoming SFC Members! It’s well deserved and quite a few of us have been waiting for it to happen. For those that don’t know,
Mikester92 is head of Internal affairs, the department that keeps these boards ticking, by moderation, maintenance and security checks. Also parent department to the Starfleet Corps of Engineers, the team responsible for this awesome site you see before you.
Bondgadget76 has the role of Division Supervisor! The UFP has 2 main sections. The Departments, for admin work, such as this post from the FNN, and The Divisions, Responsible for making sure you guys get the best gaming experience we can offer! Being Division supervisor is no easy feat, Bond works day in and day out, as well as looking after the Starfleet Academy department, he keeps in constant communication with division leaders and works hard to support or guide their efforts on making UFP Gaming Great!
With all that happening so far, we don’t realise that its only 2 more months till the next UFPAC.
The March 2011 UFPAC was one of our greatest success’s to date thanks to the contributions of many of its members… The media submissions such as Adster94’s Reserves promotion were fantastic to watch, and we want more!
You, the members of UFP have this time to create your own materials! I’d love to see some picture submissions come in, If we can get enough, and I mean made by you guys, it could make a lovely addition to the UFPAC, Or how about a good time you had on STO? Or a cool video that’s not even trek related? Setsuna’s Fomula Sim Racing video grabbed the attention of a few members who were all interested in F1 gaming! But enough of that rant, the main thing is we keep a steady eye on the horizon! The United Federation of Planets is moving ahead faster and better than ever before, thanks to all its members.
News posting will be continuing as normal as of this week!
