The {UFP} has a long standing ethos to ensure friendship with other clans in the Star Trek community, and it's something that can only be once again confirmed today as an establishment of a new Non Aggression Pact has been made with another fleet in the Star Trek: Online community.
12th Fleet of which the United Federation of Planets have begun diplomatic relations with have mutually signed a NAP with us, therefore beginning what we hope to be a fruitful relationship from one fellow gaming clan to another. The benefits of which we may see soon, with the possibility of inter-fleet events on the horizon amongst other things.
The Starfleet Diplomatic Corps department focuses on representing the {UFP} in it's best interests in other communities and fleets in order to bring a better experience to gamers in both areas. The department assigns ambassadors to continue relations with friendly fleets and also supervisors the fleet's liaisons whose job is to organise events with the {UFP}'s divisions.
Captain Jordan, the fleet's Chief Ambassador was thankful to all officers on both sides involved in order to start a relationship with a bright horizon. In a brief interview he had this to say about the situation "This treaty marks the start of a more social and open fleet with our allies and partners in the Star Trek community."
