Deep Space Nine: 2.19 Blood Bath.

Three old Klingons arrive on DS9 searching for Curzon Daz
they've tracked down the Albino resposible for killing their
first-born sons in a conflict some eighty years ago.

The Klingons.. Kang, Kor and Koloth all appeared in the TOS episodes:
Day of the Dove, Errand of Mercy and The Trouble with Tribbles respectively
They were given the mutant Klingon make-over for Blood Bath even though they appeared as "swarthy ones" in TOS,
no explaination was given for their transformation.

John Colicos (Kor) reprised his role 27yrs after he'd last performed it
probably a record for a re-accuring actor to the same role.

Did you know that..

...that Enterprise was the first series to not use models in favor of using CGI models for the starships?

...that the Female Changeling was never given an official name such as Odo and Laas were?

...that Rick Berman wanted the Dominion War to be concluded in three to four episodes, but that Ira Steven Behr and Ronald D. Moore knew that they could never conclude the war that quickly?

...Rick Berman and Brannon Braga never created a back story for Future Guy?

Did you know that Star Trek was primarily filmed on Stage 8 on Paramount studios, and that even the recent Star Trek film was partially filmed on it.

Other star trek series, include Star Trek Enterprise, Star Trek The Next Generation, Star Trek Voyager amongst Star Trek The Motion Picture.

Colonists in the DMZ fight the Cardassians over the Federation Peace Treaty for that area.

This story along with TNG episodes "Journey's End and
Pre-Emptive Strike laid most of the groundwork for the introduction of Voyager

The Maquis Pt II 2.21
The Maquis try to recruit Sisko for their cause and go to war with
the Cardssians
One of the ironies of the Marquis is that whey were only brought into DS9 to set up a group to use as part of the Voyager crew.

Voyager: Cathexis 1.12

Tuvok and Chakotay return form an away mission.. Tuvok is injured and Chakotay has bioneural energy drained and is brain dead.

Until this episode Tuvok had been a lieutenant Commander, from here until his promotion in "Revulsion" he's dropped a rank to Lieutenant. No explaination for this is given in the series. Presumably it was was spotted that as a Lieutenant Commander he'd outrank Chakotay, the First Officer.

Tom Paris is forced to relive commiting a murder he says he didn't commit through the victims eyes.

In this story its made explictly clear that humans no longer smoke
its said that they stopped centuries ago.. Gene Roddenberry was insistent on this point, he had a "No Smoking" sign removed from the set of The Rath of Khan.

DS9 3.1 The Search pt 1

Sisko aquires the Defiant but the ship is overpowered by the Jem'Hardar..

It was Ira Behr and Robert wolfe who concieved the Defiant as an antidote to the squeeky clean technology of the next generation.. the writers fought hard to have a cloaking device on the ship giving rise to the inclusion of a Romulan presance.. the cloak disappeared after The Search pt 2.. Only later becoming a firm fixture..

Martha Hackett, the romulan officer on attachment to the Defiant would later join Voyager as "Seska"

Odo discovers he's one of the Founders.

Natalia Nogulich reprises her role as Admiral Nechayev first seen in The Next generations "Chain of Command"
Nogulich was to play "X" in the X-Files after recording a few sceens she was replaced by Steven B Williams.

Johnathan Freakes makes his directoral debut in this episode.

suppose this is basically a question but:

if the Romulans werent seen from or heard from for 50 years before 'The Neutral Zone', how come the Enterprise-C encountered 4 of their ships at Narenrda 3?

Picard says that it had been about 50 years since they had last had contact with the Romulans. It seems logical to assume that there may have been encounters before that, but never any formal contact.

the ent-c was destroyed 20 years before TNG
the episode Yesterday's Enterprise' is contradictory to several early Romulan episodes where they stated the osloation
