Hi, this will be done shortly. I shall make sure to to send through the request to IA to hand off the Provisional status, since officially you're on the system as being provisional, we just don't show it for Captain and above ranks.

Don't worry you are a 'full' Captain. We don't actually have a provisional Captain rank.

Our provisional ranks stop at Commander, so you actually are a full Captain. The ranks used for provisional ranks are the single horizontal gold bar with solid gold or black vertical bars indicating the rank.

The issue with giving me a provisional rank coming back to the fleet is that provisional is done for three months when moving up into a rank so that the supervisor can assess whether or not the person fits the position. If not they are released from the position and returned to their previous rank.

Seeing as how I don't have a supervisor and no position, and I am moving down from a rank as opposed to up to one, the provisional rank doesn't make sense, as what exactly am I being put on probation for?

Anyways, I appreciate your help with this.

Then the advice you received at the time was wrong, the provisional rank status was added when you re-joined the fleet, if you look at your application, when I accepted you it states provisional Captain status. This is due to the Returning Admirals policy that was set up quite some time ago in Starfleet Command.

Since the three months have passed though, the provisional status has ended.

Ok. It doesn't make sense to me (That wasn't the way I understood it was to be implemented when we agreed to the returning admiral policy) however I appreciate your fixing the issue with the signature.
