    Hey everyone, we need participants for our study on "images of leaders and football managers".

    It would help if you like football/soccer to take part, and you have to be 18 years old or over.

    I started doing the survey but I am unsure about one of the questions.

    What kind of leader did you think of when you described a typical leader?
    My answer would be a typical leader because that is what I was asked to describe but I get the impression that isn't what you were going for as otherwise the question answers itself.

    What exactly is a "Football Manager"?

    Is that like the "Head Coach"?

    We both speak English, but sometimes I get confused on the actual words. hahaha. "Football" I take it to mean what we call "Soccer" in the States. Smile

    Silynn - If you don't follow soccer then it would be best if you didn't do the survey. Thanks for offering though! But to answer your question, a football manager is basically in charge of the team, while a coach is more specific (like a goalkeeping coach, or a defense coach). The manager is in charge of the general running of the team, team selection, tactics, and so on. I guess it would be the equivalent of a "coach" in NFL?
