Problem Title
Resolution for Armada II
Specified Game
Star Trek Armada Series
Description of the Problem
Every time I load my Armada II the screen resizes, and normally that wasn't a problem, but today trying to save a game it completely locked me out of anything until I crashed the game. It sux cuz I was very far into the mission and had already reset the game once.

This has been a consitant problem for many OLD games I play. I'm running Windows 7. My old armada game doesn't work at all (which sux cuz its my all time fav PC game). I tried running armada II in Admin mode, same problem. My old SFC3 game does it too but I work around it via admin mode and dealing with what I can still do, and what I cant do.. Armada II wont even let me tab out to work around it.

I had a very similar problem, a while ago but if my memory serves me well, I had to access my Nvidia graphics manager and there was a couple of settings which werent matched with my monitor/PC, and once I had corrected/matched the settigns my Armada 2 was fine again. However, I dont know whether that will help.

Microsoft made an emulator for windows 7 that makes things thing its XP. Its called "XP Mode" (yeah super name) give me a little bit and ill find a link. Running it in XP mode may solve your issue. If it can fool the stuff I run at work that expects to see Win2k or NT (yep old school) Armada 2 should work.

"XP mode" is a compatibility feature for old programs. I did that in the first post. Didn;t work

I have since founda soultion for my Problems with Armada II. You can change this to Resolved

Nothing really to tell ro I would. I simply Uninstalled all my star trek games 2 days ago, Reinstalled them, Patched them to the latest patch and any fan fixes that fans may have Given.

In this case for armada II I am using patch 1.2 from Fleet Ops. (Originally I had the issue with the same patch)
