I'm sorry I got three minutes in and can't watch anymore. I don't mean to sound like an arse but that guy knows less about radiation than I do! His reporting is speculative and he's just inferring random things to try and get people worried over nothing. Spouting out names of elements as if he knows what they are....

Sorry, but this kind of reporting really agitates me. It has no basis in fact.

Am going to agree with Soundwave and I hope I don't come across as an Arse for this, but it wasn't a Meltdown there is not enough Radioactive particles to cause harm to anyone outside of the region let alone the USA. In fact I probably breath in more radiation on a daily basis as does most of Europe thanks to Chernobyl's Meltdown, and in Easter Europe they still are recovering from the fallout. Japan is lucky to have avoided a disaster of a similar scale, but will sadly still take many years to recover from this.

Anyway hope I didn't offend or upset anyone with this touchy subject.

It's not necessary to delete, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think what people are trying to say though is to rely more on sources with facts that can back up their reporting. For the record I wouldn't trust Fox News either... heh

I don't trust any news to be honest. The best one I've found so far to watch is Al-Jazeera TV. The media really peeves me off because whenever something comes up that I actually know something about I find they have all of their facts wrong and it's just sensationalist - so if they get stuff wrong that I know about, how can I trust anything they say I don't know much about?

His statistics don't seem to have any credible sources and his conclusions are not backed up by any reasoning I don't mean his reasoning is bad I mean it does not exist its all just anecdotal.

Personally I would not be concerned about what he is saying, I really think that if any of what he were saying were true then some pretty big and credible news sources would be reporting it.

There is a lot of power in the media, sadly with said power, the person who controls it... can put any spin they want on it. Or worse, omit actual facts and just plain not "report" the story.

Credibility with News and Media agencies in this day and age is pretty low. The days of just reporting the facts are a time of the past, imho. Thus, when I read news, I always take what I'm being 'spoon fed' with a grain of salt.

Fortunately, the Internet is so vast and powerful. Information can be slanted and spun by Spin Doctors by their hearts content, but blogs and even the comment sections of articles can provide other perspectives. In fact, I often spend more time reading the comments than I do the actual article.
