    I have about the same specs and can run The Game just fine on the lower settings so you should be fine Babyhead

    I run STO on a six yr old Pentium 4 3.2Ghz with 2GB Ram and an NVidia 8800GT card, on Win XP.

    I would guess that is a relatively similar performance profile to your system.

    The game runs smoothly and is very playable at 1024x768, just keep graphics settings around medium detail and don't crank up the AA.

    Well, here you have it babyhead, just like i thought. Davok can run it on a lower spec graphics card than your own pretty smoothly, and take note of what he said about AA. Turning on AA and Shadows on a low spec CPU or Graphics card is just asking for trouble, its one of the worst things you can do but if you can crank up the resolution as long as the game still runs smoothly. that way having no AA will become less noticeable (if you notice it at all) the higher your resolution.
