    Hey all,

    Just a query.

    I need to get a new headset since I've had yet another cheap set die on me. What do you guys use? I'd prefer to spend around £50 but could go more if needed.

    Also looking to get a Cyborg RAT 9. Anyone know if they're any good?

    do you want a 5.1 or a 2.1 headset?

    I recommend the Turtle Beach headsets for 2.1
    and the Trust for 5.1. ( i owned a trust 5.1 headset costing £20 for 8 years before one of the speakers finally gave out)

    I have both Turtlebeach X11 and X41 and I couldn't recommend them enough. Only Issue I had with the X41 was acquiring a talk cable to use voip on PC, however the X11 doesn't have as powerful virtual surround sound but it is more suited to PC use.

    I also use a Turtlebeach X11 the same as Reggie. The build quality is quite high and it is very comfortable. Although it is relatively pricey I think it is good value.

    If you have an Xbox 360 it is also compatible with that and will allow you to have the game audio through your headset rather than your TV (if you don't want to disturb anyone else) it does have an independant game and voice volume control for use on the Xbox as well.
