    Problem Title
    Connecting using RPGXCE
    Specified Game
    RPG-X Mod
    Description of the Problem
    I was wondering how I would set up RPG-X CE to connect to {UFP} servers. I would love to play alongside you guys but I don't own Elite Force, and RPG-X CE seems like a good roundabout solution.

    Also, should I do my RPG-X training prior to trying to connect to the servers?

    Hello Garrett

    I believe RPG-XCE uses the RPG-X mod, as opposed to rpgxEF. rpgxEF is an enhanced engine using the RPG-X mod... it's confusing I know, but the enhancements really do forward the mod, so we only support rpgxEF now. If you take a look at our install guide, you can probably skip to the section titled "Install rpgxEF" after using RPGXCE. If you have any issues doing this, feel free to post back and we'll try and help you out.
    We're looking into making this whole process a lot easier for our members in the near future, but for now this will have to suffice.

    rpgxEF is the lovely shiney newest update for RPG-X, it allows you to do a lot of things you can't do in the normal RPG-X so you will need to install rpgxEF in order to play on our servers.

    As for the Academy Course if you aren't experienced with RPG-X then it would definately be worthwhile taking the course as it will familiarise you will the essentials.

    Good evening, sports fans! An update:

    I've gotten rpgxEF to work with RPGXCE (so many acronyms!). I have a backup folder that has a clean install of it in case I need to revert. Now, I'm going to start downloading the components and maps and such and I'll try connecting to the {UFP} server briefly to see if I can connect and I'll let you all know.

    EDIT:

    Good news, everyone! It works! I installed rpgxEF as instructed, and downloaded the {UFP}remake.pk3 file. I briefly connected to the {UFP} server, and as far as I can tell, I've gotten RPGXCE to work.
