I am delighted to announce that late last night after weeks of negotiations, the United Federation of Planets reached an agreement with CBS Broadcasting Inc. (the Star Trek license holders) through discussions with various top executives including the Vice President of Licensing CBS Consumer Products to become an official distributor of a licensed title. This agreement will allow the UFP to freely and legally distribute the online portion of a famed classic Star Trek PC gaming title to registered members.
At this time we are not confirming which Star Trek multiplayer game we will be releasing, but we are confident that you, the community, will be thrilled with the news.
This is an exciting opportunity for us to expand on our Star Trek gaming offering, and we look forward to reinvigorating interest in an ageing but still highly fun and addictive game, supporting a wide range of gaming options.
