Hi all,
I couldn't remember if I had to do anything special as I'm going to miss roll call for August due to me moving house, so I decided to post here. Seems really epic that it's gonna take them 2 weeks to set up the internet for me, oh well.
This is the first time I've moved with me being in charge of everything, scary stuff. Has anyone got any tips? Almost all of the stuff is packed we've got a van for Monday so it should all go smoothly, but I probably won't be online until the 15th. Sad times.

Plan as if you have more than you think, and as if it will take longer and more man-power than you think. Moving expenses (including labor from your friends/family) are almost always underestimated in my mind. Last time we moved we paid someone to do it for us, and it was well worth the few hundred bucks (was across town).

If you know you're going to miss Roll Call, please file a Leave of Absence. The form can be found within this thread. Filling an LoA will serve to protect your membership within the UFP.

Hey again guys, the move went fairly smoothly. Thanks again for the support.
However, TalkTalk managed to screw up my Internet set-up so I won't be properly online for another couple of weeks. How do I extent my LOA? I've posted on it but my post is subject to moderation and hasn't yet been approved so I'm not sure if anyone has seen it...
