I was fully expecting ST: 2 too get pushed back; last i heard the script wasn't complete and JJ and Zachary Quinto and the other actors have been working on their own projects. So what do you think the storyline will be about this time? Klingon's? The controversial Khan?

What story would you like to see revived from the ToS or do you want a completely brand new one??

I'd like to see an 'original' and 'new' story... the 1st "reboot" movie was done to give the franchise a new breathe and a new feel. Thus I do not want to just see a re-hash of an 'old story'. As then we'd just be continuing to compare the old and the new.

Personally, I like the new take on the familiar characters. They all have their different feel and air about them, something that I really like. The new McCoy is just awesome. Scotty is always a favorite and the new one does a fine job to represent (and carry forward) the tradition.

So please let it be a new and fresh story.

I want a new story too. I want an epic story which records a momentous moment int he history of the federation which the enterprise plays a significant part in. Not just another bad guy to beat.

Would be interesting to see something between the Klingons, Feds and Organians. Maybe a rebellious Chang like character, who wants to see the Federation finally wiped out after what he see's as constant insults to the supremacy of the Klingon Empire. Perhaps a little Romulan interference as well just the liven up the mix, or do you think we had enough Romulan from the first film?

Well, it seems that the new movie takes place after the events of Galileo Seven, as that is being covered in one of the comic's leading up to the movie.

I think this movie might be set between the first two series of the the originals. I'm also hoping for an original story here. Maybe baddy Klingons, since we didn't get them last time and they looked DAMNED COOL!!! (We need great big trench coats in ST:O. )

Initially I was completely in love with the new Star Trek film. After watching it a few times though there were certain things which just really annoyed me. The bridge for instance was just crazy, come straight from Apple's design section. "The new and improved iBridge! Now comes with an iPod/iPad docking port in the Captain's chair!" Too much lens flare, would need sunglasses to work on that ship lol. No blue phasers... New Enterprise design was quite strange, nacelles too close together (and too long for a start). The neck goes nearly all the way back to the shuttle bay?

Some big plot holes too, but I won't focus on the negative too much. It was a good action film, but most definitely not Star Trek. I just hope that JJ actually makes something original for the next film, instead of copying something that's already been done. There is a well done video on Youtube showing how the first JJ film was essentially a Star Trek parody of the first Star Wars film (A new hope).
