    I love the bridge. It was clean and more representative of what a furture starship bridge would be expected to look like these days rather than the "primitive" TOS look. The lens flares I liked, they were rather artistically used. The Enterprise, well that grew on me. It looks a lot sturdier than the TOS Enterprise, and I think that's due to the next design. No blue phasers on the ship, but there was one shot on the Narada with a blue phaser. Smile

    I'd like a little of both. With the new timeline, anything is possible. We might even find out that this timeline turns into the Mirror Universe or something. Tongue Out

    Take a side note in previous canon, like the Tribble/Klingon story, and make that the focus of a whole new, very different and brand new, story.. (maybe the tribble story is a bad example but i cant think of any other real quick)

    Well yes, the bridge was much more modern. However it was just far too bright for me. To artistic and not practical enough in some sense...

    Would preferred something like this. I know it's not super modern, but I think with a new crew and new effects it would have been just as popular whilst keeping the TOS feel about the ship. Modern classic Smile.

    EDIT: Actually, if they changed the colour of the deflector dish in the JJ Trek Connie to the red/brown in TOS and the buzzard collectors on the warp nacelles to red I wouldn't mind it so much. Slight redesign of the neck/nacelle pylons too :p.
