Here is my new interactive desktop.
Using Rainmeter and Rocketdock along with my own skills in Photoshop to create the still background. Everything but the galaxy is either interactive or animated.

Yeah the reason it doesnt work with latest tech is because its falling behind. However it has many limitations unless your a good coder yourself anyways.
