I thought this would go away, but for the past two days I have been getting random 'time outs' when browsing the forum.
It seems to be random with no rhyme or reason as to what forum or sub-forum it is. Example, I couldn't read the Thorpe Park Review thread until today.
Now, I'm having trouble accessing the Fleet Request forum under SFO.
I have purged my cache/cookies, so not what else I can do. Just wondering if others have been having the same problems. Or if anyone knows of a solution.
BTW, I'm usually connected to STO or my email and those never have connection timeout issues. So wondering if it is my DNS tables or my provider.

When you're encountering the connection timed out error in your browser, try route tracing ufplanets.com and 31.132.2.170 (our webserver IP).
To traceroute, go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
Enter the command "tracert <desitnation>" (eg. tracert ufplanets.com).
See where it times out, if at all.

Also, seems to happen more (repeatable) when i open up a thread into a browser tab than a window.

Check the IPv4 Properties under your network card, sometimes Windows adds in errant DNS server addresses they start with 156.x.x.x. Remove them and that may help.
