Gameforge, the publishers of the upcoming Star Trek MMO, Star Trek Infinite Space, have been nominated for several awards in the European Games Award, which is a yearly event where developers and publishers of games that are based in Europe, where the developers and publishers are nominated for awards and then are voted upon, and so the winners receive these prestigious awards.
Gameforge is a German video game developer and publisher, which specialises in browser-based multiplayer games, such as the text based galaxy strategy game called OGame and a couple of other popular browser games such as the Gladiatus MMO.
Gameforge has been nominated as Best European Publisher, and Runes of Magic from their partner Frogster is nominated in the category Best European Online Game. Gameforge.com the portal site operated by Gameforge has also received a nomination in the category Best European Gaming Portal.
Runes of Magic is a free MMO role-playing game, by the Taiwanese developer Runewalker Entertainment and was adapted for the English and German-speaking market by the German company Frogster interactive, the gaem was launched just over 2 years ago.
If you want to show your support for the publisher of Star Trek Infinite Space make sure to cast your vote before the August 11th, 2011 deadline.
