    error says cannot find .ui86.dll says file not found. this game worked during my academy instruction?

    That's an RPGXEF file that should be in the RPG-X2 folder. Try re-downloading RPGXEF, and replacing that .dll with the one in the zip folder. Alternatively, you can download either the RPG-X Basic Edition or the RPG-X Advanced Edition. Both come with RPGXEF fully installed and operational.
