    Technical Problems (Advance)
    Problem Title
    When I run TS3 I loose all game sounds.
    Operating System
    Windows 7
    Description of the Problem
    When I run TeamSpeak3 I loose all sounds in my game. They don't go away all together, but they become so minimal I can barely hear them. I have disabled the volume plug-in in TS, and I have the following done as well:

    Control Panel>Hardware and Sounds>Sounds>Communications>Do Nothing is selected

    I run Windows 7 64-bit, TS3 64-Bit and my sound device is an ATI High Definition Audio Device (that's what it says in my device manager)

    I have made posts in the TS forums and gotten no useful help.

    EDIT: Now when I start TS up as soon as I hit connect, it goes unresponsive.

    To respond to your edit, That happened to me and I simply re-installed, you can save your account so that you do not need to be given your permissions again. To do this:
    - start up TS but do not try to connect to anything
    - save the teamspeak addresses you don't want to loose into a text/doc file.
    - click the settings tab
    - click identities
    - click default then export
    - save the file to a place you can remember, I used my desktop for simplicity.
    - uninstall then reinstall TS3
    - start up teamspeak and cancel the set up guide
    - go back to settings and itentities
    - click import and find the file you saved
    - look at the identities window, there will be two profiles, default and default_1
    - Delete default, leaving default_1 as your only profile, which is the one you saved.
    - You may need to set up your hotkeys in options again.

    As for the sound problem, I also have an ati graphics card and on the one occasion when my computer used it as a soundcard it was like a machine speaking whenever some one spoke on teamspeak, is it the same for you?

    It was at first. It was metallic and so distorted I couldn't understand what anyone was saying. But then I realized I was running 32-bit TS instead of 64-bit. I have however given up on the sound issue just as long as it doesn't go unresponsive and I can chat with you guys I am good.

    I am going back to my old tech support mode here, do you know if you ATI sound card is using the native Windows 7 drivers or the latest drivers from ATI for the sound card. There are several issues using the Microsoft drivers instead of the manufacturers drivers. First thing I would do is check to see if you have the latest drivers for you sound card.

    I went into my device manager and did the whole right click on the ATI device and update drivers and it said my drivers were up to date. Now whether they really are or not is another story.
