    Hi,

    Not sure if this is in the right Forum, please move if not.

    I'm having problems with the EF installation file, both versions. I can download the file ok, but when I click on it, nothing happens. If I eventually control-alt-delete, if says program needs shutting then restarts explorer. I've tried running it with admin access and compatibility to XP but no luck.

    Any clue waht might be going on?

    Just confirm, are you able to open the zip file? If you're not able to, it sounds like you're using the default Windows extractor, which to be frank, is horrible when it comes to large zip files. I'd suggest downloading Winrar or a similar program to extract the installer from the zip file.

    I forget what off the top of my head, not at home, but not using windows to extract. Will locate another program and try extracting again, see if that works.

    Given it another try and still not working, no idea why not. Re downloaded files and winzip. Giving up for now and will wait until I get a new computer hopefully before end of the year.
