I noticed that we're running a short story competition, and I'm sad that I wasn't able to get a submission in before the deadline due to work and my other writing.
I presently write a short story series that takes place during the 3rd season of The Next Generation, called "Star Trek: Full Speed Ahead." It centers around the Nebula-class starship USS Farragut, which has been assigned to patrol the Cardassian border (so far).
It's kind of NSFW at times, with a lot more gritty dialogue and situations, but if you're willing to check it out, I have everything posted at the Ad Astra Star Trek Fanfiction Archives. Each episode will have a warning on it for the NSFW stuff, so if you see it while at work or someplace where it might not be socially acceptable, then just cancel out.
