It was only so long ago that the Federation News Network found its new Executive Officer, and it is with great pleasure that the individual has become the new Commanding Officer, effective as of today.
The Federation News Network department is the fleet's source of news from around the clan and the Star Trek community as a whole. Delivering articles lovingly written by our news reporters, providing audio bites from members around the {UFP} and keeping our twitter feed up-to-date, it's the fleet's news centre.
Airik over the past few months has shown a clear dedication and enthusiasm to the better improvement of the Federation News Network as a whole. It makes sense therefore, that the experience and leadership that he has both gained and shown is put into practice by placing Airik as the new Commanding Officer.
I'm sure Airik will continue on with the renewed theme of providing members with what is most informative and fun for them to read, listen and interact. Needless to say you'll continue seeing a continued effort to release content on a regular basis and create an atmosphere fitting with an online community

Congrats Airik...We in teamspeak will never here the end now..UFP has created a monster and its the one eye cardi named Airik..God save us all from the monster that the UFP has created...I'm joking ..he is now on the Klingon hit list for sure !
