Division/Department: Starfleet Corps of Engineers (SCE)
Position: Engineer
Reports to: Rear Admiral Gumms, SCE CO.
Role Purpose: To assist in the development and maintenance of the {UFP} website and forums.
Accountabilities:
- Assist with preparations for the vBulletin Transfer.
- Maintenance tasks on the {UFP} website.
- Address website issues pointed out be other members.
- Ensure that the {UFP}'s web structure functions properly.
Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of vBulletin.
- Knowledge of PHPBB3.
- Knowledge of Joomla.
- Knowledge of PHP.
- Knowledge of MySQL.
- Knowledge of CSS and (X)HTML.
Do note that you don't have to fulfill all of the requirements above, but I do require that you have some basic knowledge of at least two. Applicants with more experience will get priority, but I encourage members to use this position as an opportunity to learn new skills.
Previous Members to hold the position: New role, but essentially the same as the other web team members have been doing until now.
