hehe..I see the BIG BOX looking thing on the right would win..But keep in mind, the death star is about the size of a small moon.. so the size of the cube would be 1/3 the size of the Deathstar..need to have about 10 of them to invade the Deathstar..and would be taken within an hour..easy peasy !

    Resistance is futile. Borg

The planet destroying superlaser might be powerfull enough to destroy the cube. However it is unlikley that the Borg would miss a weapon of this size in their scans, making it rather easy to avoid it. That leaves only the normal weapons and the fighters for defense.

Even if we now assume that the turbolasers are comparable to the firepower of the average star trek weapon, I dont think that it would help the Empire much. Not only can a borg cube take severe punishment but it can also adapt. I dont think that turbolasers can vary their settings to the extent needed to counter adaption of the Borg. Consider also that the Empire had never meet such an enemy before, so it might take a while until they got the idea. Not to mention that reconfiguring all 2500 guns is going to take some time, no matter how much you hurry.

I dont think that the firepower of a fighter would do more than scratch the (nonexistant) paint job of the cube. Ohh, and I remember that those Empire fighters dont even have shields. I foresee pilots being beamed right into the assimilation chamber. Assimilate.

The defense field was not good enough to hold of a few pathetic fighters so it is likely that the borg can either destroy it regionally with their weapons or worse fly right through it with a bit of adaption.

After that only the hull protects the death star. And that hull could be compromised and severly damaged by a few laser cannon shots from a small x-wing.... I would imagine that it would offer very little resistance to the heavy cutting beams of the cube, making a entry if transporters should not work.

Once the drones are aboard they will adapt quickly to the few different weapons that the empire has to offer, assimilating more and more crew on the way. It might be a large task but the borg assimilated entire planets.... they will assimilate all of the death star in time.

After being done with that they have all the information needed about this Galaxy.... and could beginn the assimilation of it.... Resistance is futile.

    I concur with Hyperion.
The Borg can move around as well, the Death Star can not. Additionally, the fighters are not any match for the Borg. And although it could irritate the Borg a little, I doubt the Imperial Starfleet could do much.
