As some of you may already be aware, the United Federation of Planets has recently been progressing to establish a Non-Aggression Pact (NAP) with Lotus Fleet. Original work on the treaty began many months ago under the command of the then CO of Diplomatic Corps, Chris5626. Bondgadget76 wished to make a "warm thanks" to him for his continued efforts in making sure the pact was properly established.
With this in mind, both fleets have now signed a NAP is now in effect between the two fleets.
Bondgadget had the following to say about all of this: "I hope that this will lead to better relations with Lotus Fleet and that it will show everyone that two great clans are coming together, not exchanging fire but holding out the hands of friendship and hope for the future." The Federation News Network has learned that the UFP may be seeking a more developed relationship with Lotus Fleet as time goes on, which may well lead to further treaties with them in the future.
All officers of the fleet are expected to respect and uphold this treaty in and out of game. Any further questions on this can be diverted to the Diplomatic Corps department.
