So - I know it's a bit of a fandom shift here, but what did you guys think of The Hunger Games?
I thought that it was one of the best book-to-movie adaptations that I've seen in a long time. In fact I can't really name any others which I thought were as true to the story and as epic. I really loved the fact that while they weren't able to include everything in the movie, they didn't really change things either.
Some stuff I would have loved to see in the movie (maybe we'll see in the deleted scenes?):
- Katniss interacting with the Avox (tongueless servants)
- Katniss interacting more with her stylists (In the book they actually kinda liked each other)
The visual scenes in the movie are almost all exactly as I pictured them.
So - opinions?
