Problem Title Unable to install Armada II
Specified Game Star Trek Armada Series
Description of the Problem Hi guys,
Been trying to install Armada II since that seems to be picking up in the Reserves Squadron! Never used it before but at least I'm keen.
However I get to the splash Armada II screen, click install and nothing happens, it just closes. Nada. Honestly. There was a little activity I think but nothing to suggest the game was installing. I have all the required patches, Fleet Ops etc but since I can't get that far..?
I tried right-clicking, properties, Compatability and selected Windows 98 but that didn't produce any tangible results either. Stumped.
I'm currently on Windows 7 x64bit, 4GB RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo.

That should do it! I haven't tried Run as Administrator true, but in my original post I stated I had already tried running the setup .exe under Windows 98 & XP with Compatibility Mode with no joy.

With many of the older Star Trek games from that era, there are two Setup executable. The default one doesn't work very well with Windows Vista/7. Try using the one inside of the Setup folder to install the game.

Admiral Sharpkiller you've done it again! Inside the Setup folder there is another Setup.exe and it went straight into InstallShield from there, now set up with Fleet Ops tunngle etc.
