I would have to disagree. I have both and only really use my PS3 for a blu-ray player. Yes, there is a 50 some odd dollar fee for Xbox online, but I don’t know the last time the Microsoft was hacked and down for almost 3 months, came back up for 2 days and then was knocked back off line... Just sayin. Also it is nice have a stable platform that allows you to have a community feel while trying to get a game together with friends. Xbox live give you a great launch pad to come together. Much like the UFP Website (Shameless Plug) :-)

I have to say, Xbox by far. PS3 is nice for the Blu Ray player, but the selection of games is really limited compared to the Xbox. Yeah there are some nice exclusives like Uncharted and Heavy Rain... but the Xbox has the wider range of titles. To me, that's more important... I like my Wii for Zelda and Mario but the game selection is pathetic other than that... same goes for the PS3 in my books. Just not enough new titles to keep me interested.

I have Xbox 360 like the fact i followed the MW series also Xbox live gaming is just well put this way diffident from pc mutiplayer games

I like PC the most, and i would rather let the fanboys argue over the two all day

But I like PS3 more for a few reasons.
1. I feel more loyal to sony since i started off with the PS1
2. I love the Blu Ray Player
3. I like Metal Gear Solid, have been a fan since 1.
4. Most of the Metal Gear releases are released on Sony and Nintendo products
So i conclude that ill either have PS3 or Nintendo 64

Out of the two I would have to say Xbox 360.

The Xbox 360 has a larger catalogue of games.
The Xbox 360 in my opinion has better exclusive titles.
I think Kinect is better than Move (if I wanted Move I would just play my Wii more).
I personally prefer the Xbox 360 controller.

Yes the PS3 has a Blu-Ray player but you can pick them up cheap enough these days.
Yes PS3 has a free online service but I find Xbox Live a superior service and I am happy to pay for a superior service.
In my experience Microsoft seem to treat their Xbox customers a lot better than Sony treat their Playstation customers.

Can you create a libaray of movies and music photos on your PC and then have the Xbox access that via your home network like on the PS3? I have a 2 TB drive on my PC filled with movies music etc , all playable on my PS3 in my living room. Can xbox do that? Im not trying to start a fight, I just dont know if it can or can't

That's a biggy for me. Never liked the PS controllers. Too small and the analogue sticks are in the wrong place.
