As some of you may already be aware, the United Federation of Planets is entering a new era with the creation of a communications tool which we hope will be very beneficial to the fleet in the future. We are indeed, introducing a Audio Podcast for all fleet members and outsiders to listen to whenever they like.

Mullaly, the creator of this podcast who hopes to have a new version of the podcast every 2 weeks to a month, had the following to say:{UFP} and FNN have a new communications tool! Now featuring a member created podcast, featuring all things {UFP}, STO and Star Trek! We're looking for hosts and segment hosts, as well as anyone with experience in podcasts or audio editing, so if you're interested, keep an eye out on the FNN Announcements forum for more details on how to apply!

What do you mean on iTunes? If you mean the iTunes Store than I highly doubt it would be accepted. Our podcast appeals to a very limited audience, and I doubt they'd dedicate resources to putting it on the store. You can, however, easily download the podcast and add it to your iTunes library.

Actually, as soon as I have a name for the podcast and a host, I DO plan on putting it into ITunes - all I need to be able to do is set the files up as an RSS feed, and give ITunes the link - they automatically make it searchable from their store.
I believe VBulletin will do this for us, but I'll leave that to SCE for the moment, because I am not very technically minded.

I thought so. Because podcasts are free, and you can start a podcast at any time no charge. Its inactivity for when they pull the podcast.

I like this. The first recording was very entertaining. And Mullaly even managed to keep the canuk accent under control
(lol j/k of course, I actually live in Montreal right now so maybe i'm just getting used to all the "aboots" and "eh's"
